Coco Land Homestay started already as a special place to stay, due to its enormous fruit- and vegetablesgarden and the fresh coconut you'll get at your arrival. After the first day it became the best stay of our whole 2 months trip through Thailand and Vietnam. The owners of the homestay are the most friendly and generous people you will meet. They will make you feel at home and part of their family. Their accommodation is special and in top condition as well. The rooms are cleaned every day, even the accommodations that are not occupied are cleaned thoroughly daily.||The homestay opened a month ago and the owners are learning to speak English via conversations with their guests. They even have a translate device, so they can speak Vietnamese and the device will translate it into your own language. This can result in funny translations, which contributes for the relaxt and feel free vibe at the homestay.||The owners are husband and wife and are really cute together. You see they love each other and they really want the best for their guests. The husband is really passionate about his garden and loves to show you around and let you taste the variaty of food he grows there.|All the food (breakfast, lunch, diner, drinks etc.) are made from the food in the garden. It's amazing! ||The kitchen outside is in use all day to prepair the best meals you can inmagine, from local delicacies to everything you wish to eat.|Their unique dishes have a lot of variaty daily, so it's possible to eat their food as vegetarian or meat lover. If you have preferences regarding to the food or anything else, just tell them and they will arrange it for you.||It's amazing how they can tell stories about living in Vietnam. They even brought us to the local market by motorbike (the owners drove one and we (my girlfriend and I) drove one ourselves) and they showed us around while buying extra ingredients for dinner. This specific market was maybe a 15 minute drive (one way) and we didn't have to pay for the motorbike ride. That's something we appreciated as well.||You are free to help prepairing the food, if you want to swim in their very clean pool that always has the right temperature, it's no problem! The vibe is relaxt, you can fully enjoy the your stay and if you want, you can experience how it is to live in Vietnam as a local. The area where Coco Land Homestay is located is not touristic at all. Together with 1 other couple that stayed here, we were the only tourists within a couple miles radius. The residents are not very used to tourists, so they love to see foreigners and get very happy every time they see you.|While riding around the village on their (free) bicycles, we love to wave at the locals and you see cheer up. The people around here are very friendly and polite. They will absolutally not try to sell you crap stuff on the street or try to get you into their restaurants. They are living like they always have and you can experience the pristine Vietnam, the real Vietnam. It's amazing.||If you have time to stay around Bến Tre, you definatally have to stay here. The money you'll spend on your stay will be absolutally worth every penny. If we have the luxery to be able to visit Vietnam again, we will definatally visit Coco Land Homestay again! We arrived as guests and left as part of their family. We will never forget this unique experience.
